Meet Gibble - The Gentle Giant Who Will Steal Your Heart!

This 2.5 year old Cattle x Wolfhound mix is a very sweet and affectionate boy. Gibble is a laid-back, happy and goofy dog who loves nothing more than belly rubs and playing fetch. He's well-trained, knows sit, stay, and lie down, and walks reasonably well on a leash. He doesn't jump up so he would be fine with younger kids. He is also not reactive at all to other dogs barking and loves to make new friends.

Despite his size, Gibble is incredibly gentle. He rarely barks, but will softly growl and huff to alert you if someone comes close to the house. He doesn't try to escape the yard and won't run away from you - he's too busy waiting for you to play fetch again or rub his belly! Gibble is curious but well-behaved with cats, and thinks they're his quirky little roommates. He is toilet trained and uses a doggy door.

This happy and adorable dog loves to hang out with his human as often as he can, but doesn't get stressed and act up if you leave him alone. He travels reasonably well in the car, but you do need to make sure he's buckled up or he'll try to be your front seat navigator! He's also remarkably good with baths and will patiently let you soap him up.

Gibble came into care through no fault of his own, but he's ready for his forever home with a single, couple or family who will give him all the love, walks and belly rubs he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will make you laugh every day, Gibble is your dog!

Gibble is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $500.
