George Michael was rescued from a tough situation, living alone at a petrol station. But don’t let his past fool you! He’s a playful, curious, and incredibly loving little guy. Despite his initial fear, he quickly warmed up to his rescuers and has been a total joy ever since.
Now he’s living happily with a loving family, including two teenagers, a friendly dog, and seven other cats. He’s a social butterfly, always looking for cuddles, playtime, and new adventures.
George Michael is a true survivor with a heart of gold. He’s looking for a Furever Loving home filled with love, laughter, and plenty of food! 🍔🐈
George comes fully vetted, including desexing, vaccination, and flea and worm treatment.
Indoor-only homes are preferred to ensure George's safety and well-being.

At Furever After Rescue Incorporated, our mission is to find Furever Loving Homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or with secure outdoor enclosures (all areas must be enclosed). This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
As of July 2021, the adoption of desexed animals from a registered rehoming organization like Furever After Rescue Incorporated means you'll receive free lifetime registration for your new pet. Furever After Rescue Incorporated is a designated registered pet rescue organization with the Office of Local Government, complying with section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a free NSW Lifetime Registration.
Here's how to register your pet:
Create an account on the NSW Pet Registry: Registering your pet with the NSW Pet Registry is mandatory. We'll guide you through the process.

Link the microchip to your account: Link your new pet's microchip number to your NSW Pet Registry account within 14 days of receving the cat into your care.
Update your personal contact details regularly: Ensure your contact information is current to facilitate pet recovery in case they get lost.
