About Duffy
*In foster care in Lane Cove, Sydney*
Duffy the dwarf cat is the perfect kitty for someone looking for a confident kitten! The only things that faze him are the vacuum and really loud noises (relatable) - he's otherwise super-curious, cuddly and friendly with everyone he meets!
With a penchant for sleeping on your body and purring his head off pretty much non-stop, this little guy is irresistible. His unique looks will make you fall in love with Duffy Duck! Warning: Duffy is obsessed with toes!
Like all Maggie's pets, Duffy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I love to be around people and pets, especially when cuddles or playtime are involved! I'm also fine by myself and will entertain myself with my toys, but another nice cat or dog in the house to keep me company would definitely be ideal.
Because my legs are shorter than a usual cat, I do struggle to get up on the couch or high places (though I try really hard!), so I might need a hand now and then. I'm usually fine getting back down again on my own :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Off the charts! Sometimes I think I could play all day. I get the zoomies a lot and I like to explore... but recharging my batteries somewhere cosy is also very pleasant.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I sometimes play a bit rough, a home without kids under 10 will be best for everyone.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great! I've met lots of dogs and a neighbour's cat while in foster care and I've tried to play with them all straight away, so any pet who can tolerate my hectic kitten energy is fine by me :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
