About Edna
*In foster care in Bondi Beach, Sydney*
What do you mean her name is Krabappel?!?!
I’ve been calling her Crab-apple this whole time! Meet Edna a beautiful lady with a pure white coat broken up with dilute tortie puzzle splash right down her back because girl's got flare.
Ms Edna is a pretty well rounded girl by all accounts, sassy but super affectionate, independent by nature she's also a huge fan of human company. Strokes and head scratches are like catnip to this lovely young lady so don’t be scrimping on them with her. Just to add to her overall package she also has a little poked out tongue action after having several teeth removed during her dental (utterly adorable). With those teeth out of the way she’s received a clean bill of health and is keen to join her forever family.
She's become a social little lady, who comes out to be presented and get her well deserved pats. She is also happy to have a little chat accompanied with a 'he-eeyyyyy" once her humans have arrived back, and is a sweet and attentive listener.
Like all Maggie's pets, Edna is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Like most sophisticated cats Edna respond well to a calm home environment. She enjoys watching the comings and going of human life and receiving affection but you won’t find her craving the life of the hostess with the mostest. Edna is confident in herself and will entertain herself while humans are at work or out and about and will happily welcome you home at the end of your office day.
My ENERGY LEVEL: Edna has her moments of higher energy where she’ll engage with you for a solid play session then it’s back to a life of lounging luxury in loaf mode. As an adult cat you won’t be dealing with a 2am party or bouncing off the walls but she is only 2 years old so very far from being a senior citizen.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Edna has met a couple of older kids since arriving in foster care - if there's a mutual understanding of respect, she likes them!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Edna is very happy living as a solo queen, though with proper introduction she could match with another adult cat. Edna has no experience with dogs and most likely will not enjoy their lifestyle so we feel she would be best off in a dog free home.
Medical notes
Edna has had several tooth extractions but is in otherwise good health.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
