Athena

Athena is a sweet, lanky, and playful young lady ready to find her forever home. She can be a bit anxious in new environments and is especially nervous around men, so a slow introduction and letting her approach at her own pace is important. All family members will need to come for a meet-and-greet to ensure she feels comfortable with everyone.

Athena thrives in a calm home with some structure and routine, where she can feel safe and be part of the family indoors. She is best suited to homes with calm older children.

When meeting other dogs, Athena can be social and playful, but she may be too boisterous and jumpy for some dogs, so introductions should be done carefully. She would benefit from avoiding dog parks or off-leash areas, as they could be overwhelming for her.

If you can offer Athena a loving, steady environment and the patience to help her feel at ease, she'll be a delightful and affectionate companion.
