Smokey

Smokey is a sweet, chatty boy with a touch of timidity, ready to find his forever home. To help him thrive, he should start in a small, secure area with access to safe spaces like scratch posts, cat trees, and hides. Ensure hard-to-reach spots are blocked off and allow him time to adjust before exploring larger areas, as he can be overwhelmed by big spaces.

Smokey needs a patient and understanding adopter who can help him settle in gradually. Older children who understand cat body language and can give him space are ideal. Smokey is social with other cats and might get along with a calm, social dog if interactions are monitored.

He came into care with his littermates after his previous owner could no longer look after them. Smokey was initially quite overwhelmed but has shown his true, purry self with gentle love. He loves his food and is still learning to enjoy toys.
