When gorgeous Bjorn came into our care with his ABBA Tabby siblings (Agnetha, Anni-Frid, and Benny) and their mum (Mamma Mia, of course!) they were verrry frightened of humans.
However, after a mere few weeks with their foster carers, and Bjorn is already shown what a curious, sweet boy he is!
Bjorn is very playful – he loves all kinds of toys, from strings and wands to smaller plushies, and is typically curious being a kitten. He’s slightly more introverted than his sister, Agnetha (aka Aggy), but is clever and curious and enjoys exploring his new surroundings (he’s strictly indoor only).
He’s highly food motivated, and we’ve used that to our advantage when trying to expose him to more human contact, as he’s still getting used to accepting pats, but he’s been responded to it great!
We can’t pick Bjorn up just yet, but we’re certain that with a little time and persistence, he’ll continue to make strides and might even be a lap cat some day (like his sister Anni-Frid, who has recently been adopted <3 ).
Bjorn LOVES other cats, and we suspect that he’ll do wonderfully in a home with other friendly felines. If you’re looking to adopt two friends, Bjorn gets on famously with his sister Aggy, who is also up for adoption. (Adoption fees are lower for two, of course.)

It’s heartwarming to see Bjorn and Aggy grooming one another and snuggling up together. They complement each other beautifully and and they would make the perfect additions to any household! But we understand that not everyone is in a position to adopt two cats, and that's ok. :)
(Their brother Benny is also available if you would like to meet him. Benny is still a little spicy but is making tremendous progress. He should be ready for adoption soon, but we are happy for you to visit him.)
Sugar and Spice Cat Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming street cats like Bjorn. Without people willing to open their homes and hearts to shyer cats, we cannot continue to do what we do. Please consider adopting this beautiful boy and saving two lives (his, and the cat who can come into care in his place). <3

Bjorn is happy and healthy and has no known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
