Ruby

Ruby is a good natured girl with a happy, easy-going personality.

She’s an active girl who loves to run and play, but she’s also quite happy to chill out on the verandah when her people are busy elsewhere. She’s an undemanding dog who is happy to fit in with whatever is going on in the family.

Ruby is sociable and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. She also behaves well around horses and cats. Her favourite things are going for walks with her family, playing many games of fetch with her squeaky toy, and going out in the car. She is easy to take out and about and would make a great travel companion (attention: Grey Nomads!)

Ruby has the basic commands down pat, and her recall is very good when she’s not distracted. She walks quite well on lead but can need an occasional reminder not to pull on the lead when first setting out. She is very keen to please, so she will enjoy and benefit from further training with her forever family.

Ruby would like an active home where she will have plenty of mental stimulation as well as lots of exercise, to keep her happy and healthy. It is also important that she’ll be able to enjoy lots of time with her family and have regular opportunities to get out and about. She has lived with teenagers before but not younger children.
