NOTE: You are unable to meet Jessie until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Jessie in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am obsessive of my food and like to eat as quickly as I can. I would highly benefit from a slow feeder.
• I need to be the only dog at home, I get jealous and will pick fights. I am ok around around other dogs when out & about on a walk, at the beach etc., however i am quite bossy and definitely prefer Males over other Females

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No other dogs - I don't mind passing them and saying hi when out and about but I do not have much tolerance for them and can be quite reactive to other female dogs
• We recommend no small children under 5 due to my food obsession.

My best features:
• Super cuddly & affectionate, my favourite thing is laying upside down in your lap
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated & People orientated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit, shake hands & lay down
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered girl
• I walk well on lead

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• Further socialization with other friendly dogs would be beneficial
