About Bear - 12 Wk oldCattle Dog X (On Trial 10/9/24)
Meet Bear. She is a 12 week-old Cattle cross wolfhound cross Weimaraner mix puppy. With her adorable bear-like appearance and soft, plush coat, along with her loving nature, her name was pretty obvious as she is the sweetest little girl, with some personality to match!
Bear by name and by nature, she absolutely loves a cuddle and some adventure! With a penchant for curiosity and confidence, Bear has the makings of becoming the most loyal best friend who could be trained to go anywhere with her family. She will stand up for you and entertain. Bear has also spent time with the household chickens with no issue, and has begun guarding her Foster home when necessary, so her loyalty and braun are clear. Having endured no trauma, Bear is ready to go to her forever home and easily form loving bonds to last her lifetime. She sleeps soundly in her crate and uses the yard to go to the bathroom. She’s spent minimal time in the house so may need a little toilet training when she comes inside.
**Bear will likely grow up to be a medium sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
**Bear enjoys the company of other dogs, so would love an older gentle dog as her teacher or someone home more often than not for company. Bear has something really special about her.
**Bear would love to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. She will be a wonderful family dog. You need a decent yard with good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Bear’s adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Bear is in foster care in Newcastle NSW, along with her brother Boy. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing before the age of 6 months old.
