About Po STA012821
Meet Po, a big, handsome guy with a heart as warm and inviting as his stunning appearance. Po may be a bit shy when he first arrives in a new environment, but with a little patience and care, he blossoms into a loving and confident fellow.
Po's sweet nature isn’t easily rivaled. He's a very calm and easy-going guy who adores lounging in cozy corners and basking in sunny spots. As he becomes more comfortable in his new home, you'll find that his gentle presence brings a sense of tranquility to your living space. His love for food is unmistakable, and sharing mealtime with him will become a cherished routine.
While he might take some time to fully settle in, once Po feels secure, he will undoubtedly take over his new home with grace and charm. His big, loving eyes will follow you around, and his quiet yet steadfast companionship will be a constant source of comfort.
Po's ideal home is one where he can have the patience and space to acclimate at his own pace. He is the perfect fit for a calm household, especially one where his easy-going personality can truly shine.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
Lucy is currently in foster care having a break from the busy shelter life. If you would like more information about Lucy or wish to meet her please contact our Foster Care Co-Ordinator’s -Email foster@catprotection.com.au
