About Boy - 12 Week Old Cattle Dog X (Trial)
Meet Boy. He is a 12 week old Cattle dog cross Weimaraner cross Wolfhound mix puppy. With his adorable bear-like appearance and soft, plush coat, along with his loving nature, Boy is the sweetest and gentle natured little fella.
Boy is a little shy compared to his sister Bear and is a real Boy’s boy! He seeks the attention of the older male dog and person in the household, however he’s happy to be cuddled by anyone. He’s spent time with the household chickens with no issue, and has begun guarding his Foster home when necessary so his loyalty and braun are clear. Having endured no trauma, Boy is ready to go to his forever home and easily form loving bonds to last his lifetime. He sleeps soundly in his grate outside and uses the yard to go to the bathroom. He’s spent minimal time in the house so may need a little toilet training if he’s an inside dog.
**Boy will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
**Boy will need to go to a family with another older gentle dog as a teacher. He really is a special little soul who loves company.
**Boy would love to be welcomed inside when people are home and to sleep inside. He will be a wonderful family dog. You need a decent yard with good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Boy is in foster care with his sister, Bear, who is also available for adoption, they cannot be adopted together.
Boy's adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Boy is in foster care in Newcastle NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing before the age of 6 months old.
