About Minks SUA012891
Minks is a stunning green-eyed beauty whose sweet nature will captivate you from the moment you meet her. Her friendly demeanor lights up the room, although she may take a little time to open up completely. Once she gets to know you, her affectionate personality shines through, and she becomes a devoted companion who loves nothing more than quiet cuddles and gentle attention.
Despite her affectionate nature, Minks values her personal space and prefers not to be approached too quickly; she finds comfort in a calm and patient environment. She has always been an indoor lady, and she wishes to continue living within the safety of her home. This lovely feline prefers to have her human attention undivided, making her the ideal pet for individuals or couples without children, canines or other felines.
Minks is perfectly happy with her own company if you happen to have a busy work schedule. She will wait patiently for you without any fuss, ready to welcome you home with loving nuzzles and serene purring. Her independent yet loving nature ensures that she’s content and well-adjusted, making her a low-maintenance but incredibly rewarding companion.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
Lucy is currently in foster care having a break from the busy shelter life. If you would like more information about Lucy or wish to meet her please contact our Foster Care Co-Ordinator’s -Email foster@catprotection.com.au
