About Chipmunk & Short Socks
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Chipmunk & Short Socks sound like the cats for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Are you a cuddle-loving, playful, and fun person? Well, Chipmunk and Short Socks are the affectionate, joyful, and easy-going pair of kittens you’ve been waiting for!
Meet Chipmunk and Short Socks, two charming sisters who are as inseparable as peas in a pod. They’re the kind of duo that will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of purrs.
Chipmunk has the sweetest nature and a love for all things cosy. Imagine coming home after a long day, and there she is, waiting with a gentle purr and a soft paw, inviting you to join her for some cuddles on a fluffy blanket. Her friendly and calm nature makes her the ultimate cuddle bug. Whether she’s chasing after a ping pong ball or playing with her toy mouse, she’s always ready to share her love and affection with you.
Short Socks can easily be described as a little bundle of fun. This playful kitten has a soft spot for boxes and ping-pong balls, often seen zipping around with excitement or sitting contentedly in a box. But don’t let her playful antics fool you—she’s just as affectionate as her sister. With a sweet purr and a gentle paw on your arm, she’ll let you know when she’s eager for a pat, which, to be honest, is most of the time!
Chipmunk and Short Socks share a bond as strong as their love for you will be. Whether they’re chasing each other around or snuggled up together on their favourite rug, they’re ready to bring double the love into your home.
They’re both easy to please and happiest when they’re together. They’ll keep each other company when you’re busy and shower you with affection when you’re around. It’s not just about finding two cats; it’s about welcoming two best friends into your life who will make every day a little brighter.
Chipmunk and Short Socks would thrive in a home where they can stay together, without other pets, allowing them to continue their playful and loving routine without interruptions.
Could your heart be their new home? Enquire today to meet these two beautiful girls.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
