About Toby
Meet Toby, a charming ginger tabby. He is initially shy but warms up beautifully within a few minutes if you take it gradually and once he feels safe, his affectionate, gentle nature truly shines and before you know it he’s asking you to stroke him around the neck and head. Toby is a sensitive boy but hides it well. You might think that he is fine to let out into the whole house/apartment immediately when you take him home but it will be really important to keep him in his safe room separate from the rest of the house for a few weeks to make absolutely sure that he is comfortable with the sounds and smells around him. Only after this time period can introduce him gradually to your home.
Toby is the ideal kitten for a calmer household with children over 12 who can understand his need for a softly, softly approach. As an indoor-only kitten, he will thrive in a cozy and safe environment as he is playful and curious and sometimes mischievous, just like any other kitten. Toby has been keeping his brother Mr Jones company at SAFE and if you wanted to take a pair they would amuse each other & cuddle up when you’re away. But they are both confident kittens and available separately as they will be fine in different homes.
If you are interested in adopting Toby please come to SAFE Haven in Roseville any day between 10 am & 4 pm.
Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven, with all proceeds going into saving animals and caring for them until they find loving homes.
