About Romeo - 3 Year Old Cattle Dog (Trial)
Introducing the handsome Romeo! Ready to steal your heart and bring endless love and joy into your family!
Romeo is a three-year-old cattle dog who is the most affectionate, lovable boy waiting patiently for his forever family. Romeo was surrendered to DRN through no fault of his own. He was clearly given a lot of love, which shows in his kind, gentle nature.
His absolute favorite pastimes are playing ball, cuddling, and being near his human companions, joining you on your daily tasks. He is very eager to please and is driven by food, affection, and toys—perfect for continuing his training!
Romeo is not a high-energy pup, which is uncommon for a cattle dog, but he still requires daily mental and physical stimulation to ensure his well-being and happiness.
Romeo loves company, whether human or fellow dog. He would best suit a family who works part-time or from home and has a friendly dog for him to bond with.
- Perfect family pup: kid-friendly and dog-friendly
- Non barker, non digger, non chewer
- Requires commitment to daily physical and mental stimulation
- Crate trained, offering him his own space to decompress and relax
- Knows basic commands: sit, lie down, and has great recall
- Progressing quickly with further training with his foster family, including stay, walking calmly on his leash, and socialisation in new environments
- Not tested with cats
- Desexed, microchipped, up-to-date with vaccinations, and treated for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, ensuring he is in great health
If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will enrich your life, Romeo might just be the one for you!
Romeo is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. He has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. Adoption fee is $500.
