Inexperienced adopters are welcome, though some experience with shy cats would be beneficial. To help Silas settle into his new home, it's recommended to start him off in a launch room with plenty of places where he can retreat and hide when feeling overwhelmed, such as a cardboard box, igloo bed, or cat tower. This will provide him with a sense of security and comfort as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

Silas would do best in a calm and quiet home with low foot traffic, making it an ideal environment for him to thrive. He is great with respectful older kids who understand his need for a gentle and patient approach. With the right environment and a loving family, Silas is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
