About Ash
Our Ash is ready to go to a loving home...
Ash is a very sweet, sensitive fellow who is coming out of his shell after having lots of loving care at our shelter. He has been recovering from the trauma of not being well cared for and having many fights with other cats in his environment. As you can see from his photo, he is a beautiful grey tabby colour with soulful yellow eyes.
* It is essential that Ash have a home with LOVING, GENTLE CAT GUARDIANS, who will understand the special needs that will help integrate Ash into their family. They will have a calm, quiet household and older children who understand cat behaviour and body language. Most likely it will be necessary for him to be their only fur-baby for some time.
* It's imperative that Ash lives a TOTALLY INDOOR LIFESTYLE, as he was a very lucky fellow to have escaped the awful cat diseases that come from an outdoor environment. He could have easily contracted Feline Immunodeficiency virus (FIV), a cat-bite abscess, or cat flu. Ash has been examined by our vet clinic and has a 'clean bill of health'. His indoor lifestyle can be made fun and entertaining with cat scratching posts, cardboard boxes, toys and lots more.
* A 'launch room" would be very beneficial for Ash. This would be a space that he would feel comfortable in and spend time there if he requires 'me' time. It would have all his immediate needs e.g. water, food, bedding, toys and toilet.
* Round all this off with a nutritious diet of high-quality dry biscuits and delicious wet food (for essential extra hydration) and you'll have one happy cat.My adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food A FREE 2kg bag of CATMATE litter My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $185 If you think she might be the perfect fit for your home, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
