About Vin
Hey you! How's it going? My name is Vin and my foster mum says I am a big chunk of love and my favorite thing is to cuddle up with my humans and get pats. My foster parents say that I am the sweetest and cuddliest bulldozer and I have excellent manners.
I am a 2 year and 5 month Bulldozer (British Bulldog)
Ha ha ha I do not have excellent manners - I'm a bulldozer so I forget them from time to time and just bulldoze my way thru life.
I came into care after the director of the rescue heard I was in the pound and had some health issues........ of course I did I'm a bulldog!
The rescue took me into care and I had vet work to not make babies as well as I had cherry eye surgery.
My foster mum spent a lot of time making sure I was resting and taking care of my eye - it was not a easy job!
unfortunately the cherry eye came back - so yep back in for another surgery - this time the cherry eye has held and is looking good, but I also need eye drops for the rest of my life as I have dry eye.
I'm an independent guy and I am happy to spend time on my own (3 mins is a long time isn't it????) . I love having naps and lazing about when my foster parents are out. When they are at home, I like to follow them around and sleep by their feet or on their lap if they let me. Because I like being around my humans, I would love someone who is around at home more often or not.
My foster parents tell me that I am great at walking on a lead and I love meeting other dogs and humans on my walks. I am dog friendly, sometimes my foster mum says I scare people by running up to them to say hello and giving them no personal space.
I currently live with another bulldozer and we have the best time ever playing out in the yard, doing zoomies, snoozing together and just genuinely being good mates.
I am not tested on cats
I love to sleep next to you on the couch while watching TV, or on your bed but I am also okay sleeping in my own space. At my foster parent's house, I sleep in the loungeroom where it is nice and cool and I am very well behaved and don't make a peep (except for some snoring!).
I am toilet trained and would love a house with a back yard but because I am so well trained. I don't really need too much space to run around because I much prefer to snuggle and nap.
I am great with children, especially if they will give me pats and cuddles, but because I am a bit of a bulldozer, I would be best suited to a family with children who can either bounce if I go thru them accidentally of course or older children who can brace for impact. And of course children who would love to give me cuddles!
If you're looking for a big chilled-out chunk of love, I would love to meet you and be your cuddle buddy!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
