About Susan
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Susan sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Are you the type who appreciates a cat with a bit of charm and character? Well, Susan is a kooky cat with loads of personality just waiting to brighten up your home.
Susan is the kind of cat who keeps you on your toes—in the best way possible. She’s playful, highly intelligent, and has a social streak that will warm your heart. But don’t be fooled; she’s also a sensitive soul who knows exactly what she wants, and she isn’t shy about letting you know.
One of Susan’s favourite things in the world is milk, and if she could, she’d probably ask for a glass every morning with her breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, she starts her day with a very insistent meow, making it clear she’s ready to eat. After her meal, she’ll head outside to roll around in the dirt, because what’s life without a bit of fun, right? Once she’s had her outdoor time, it’s nap central for most of the day, and she’ll soak up the sun in whatever spot she finds warm and cosy.
As the afternoon rolls in, Susan gears up for her evening antics. She’s got a soft spot for her toy mouse, especially if it rattles, and she’ll pounce around, showing off her zoomies. After she’s worked up an appetite and had her dinner, she’s ready for some lap time.
One of Susan’s adorable habits? She’s quite the dribbler. When she’s really happy and purring, she’ll leave little dribbles on your clothes as she makes herself comfortable on your lap. The more she dribbles, the more content she is. It’s her unique way of showing just how relaxed and happy she feels around you.
Susan’s a bit of a chatterbox, too. She’s got these endearing little noises she makes, especially when you touch her while she’s resting. They’re the kind of sounds that warm your soul, a reminder of how deeply connected she feels with you. She’s not a fan of being picked up unless you cradle her just right, but she’ll happily nuzzle into your hand for some neck scratches.
Susan is a darling with so much love to share, but she appreciates a gentle approach. She may take a little time to settle, particularly with loud noises or abrupt actions. Yet, when she knows she’s safe, she’ll develop a bond that’s truly special.
She’s independent enough to explore on her own but happiest when she’s curled up with her person, dribbling away as she purrs her little heart out.
Susan would thrive in a home with a garden, where she can safely enjoy the outdoors, rolling in the dirt and basking in the sun. A dog-free household is a must, allowing her to be the centre of attention. If you’re seeking a cat with a big personality, a touch of quirkiness, and a whole lot of love, Susan might just be the companion you’ve been waiting for.
Susan is located in Croydon, NSW 7km west of Newtown
Medical notes
Susan has previously taken anxiety medication to assist with her stress around living with dogs.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
