Affagato or Affy, as she is known to her best friends, enjoys lots of love and cuddles. And she has the cutest teardrop on her forehead - don't you think?

Don’t worry about her age – she is a very spritely gal who enjoys a 20-30 minute daily walk and is good on a lead. She has had 2 litters, so chasing those pups around has probably kept her fit. She is only now getting the chance to experience a home, so we feel she well deserves a warm loving home after all those years in kennels.

She would like a grassed area for her occasional zoomie if possible, but as long as she gets her daily walk she could cope without a yard. She is a very sweet and affectionate girl and so she would suit a home where people were home more than not.

Affagato has lived in foster with male greyhounds and gets on really well with other greyhounds. So, ideally, she would enjoy the company of another greyhound, but as long as you were home a fair bit, we think she would cope as a solo dog. She is currently in foster with an 8yo male greyhound, and she always just wants to be near him. She is not destructive and can be left inside the home when you go out. She is toilet trained and has even taught herself to use a doggie door, so that she can pop out into the yard when she wants. She is not fazed by noises inside the home or when out walking. She responds well to voice commands.

She travels really well in the car but may need some assistance to get in depending on vehicle type. She is okay with other breed dogs and will walk past them on the street without getting sassy.

Affy has discovered toys and the odd slipper etc which she takes to her bed but does not destroy. Mornings are her favourite time - she wakes up happy and likes to have a little play, then it’s off for her walk and back home to relax for the remainder of the day.

Affy is an intelligent, gentle relaxed joyful girl who just loves affection and is very well behaved. Affy has won our hearts - I'm sure she will win yours too.
