About Bosco
Meet Bosco, a sweet little guy with an abundance of love to give. With his gorgeous black and tan coat and an irresistibly adorable face, Bosco is guaranteed to melt your heart. This Dachshund mix is not just good-looking, though; he's a bundle of happiness and joy, always eager to be by your side.
Bosco is the epitome of loyalty and affection. He loves snuggling up with his human companions, making him the perfect lap dog. Whether you're relaxing on the couch with a book or watching TV, Bosco will be right there, reveling in your company and offering endless cuddles. His playful demeanor ensures that he’s as happy bounding around the house as he is curled up in your lap.
While he has shown some food aggression and resource guarding with his sibling, with consistent and compassionate training, Bosco will blossom into a well-mannered and loving addition to the family. Given his current training needs, Bosco would thrive best in a home as the only pet, where he can receive all the love and guidance he craves. However, with time and dedicated training, Bosco could also potentially adapt to living with another dog.
Bosco enjoys the simple pleasures in life, and his happiness is contagious. He thrives in an environment where he can be close to his human friends, making him an ideal companion for anyone who enjoys a loyal, affectionate dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and truly delightful dog, Bosco is ready to be your new best friend.
Medical notes
Bosco had multiple retained baby teeth removed. No further treatment is required.
There is a possibility he may develop base narrow canines. This needs to be monitored 6-12 monthly.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
