Rexi - 64076

Rexi just celebrated her first birthday and has been a pleasure to have in the shelter. Having come from a home in which she was penned majority of the time, Rexi has blown us away with how this has not affected her temperament and how level headed she is. While Rexi hasn't had a lot of access to other dogs, she assessed well and may suit living with a well matched male dog. Rexi has some history living with a young child, but could be jumpy so any kids in the home will need to be confident around dogs. She has no history with cats. Rexi will need to be introduced to indoor/outdoor living and would benefit from refinement of her basic manners and lead skills. She loves to follow her nose, so may be a candidate for noseworks and would very much enjoy scent based enrichment. While breed experience is desired, Rexi may even be ideal for the first time German Shepherd owner provided they have researched the breed well.
