Lizzie

When Lizzie first arrived in our care, she was timid and shy, but with time, she has blossomed into a confident and affectionate dog. Lizzie now adores cuddles and attention from our staff and volunteers and enjoys interacting with people through play.

Lizzie is a high-energy dog who thrives on physical activity and mental stimulation. She loves playing with anything and everything, especially if it involves human interaction. She especially loves a game of fetch!

An ideal owner for Lizzie would be someone who is active and willing to engage her in regular walks and games to help burn off her energy and keep her mind occupied.

While Lizzie can get a bit excited and has a tendency to jump up, she is responsive to commands and is learning that keeping all four paws on the ground is the best way to receive affection. Her new owner will need to continue this training to reinforce her good behaviour and ensure she remembers her manners.

Lizzie has shown some reactivity towards other dogs, particularly female dogs, so we believe she would do best in a single-dog household at this time. With continued training and guidance, there is potential for her to improve in this area.
