About Bart
Meet Bart, the Ferret!
Bart is a gorgeous 1-year-old ferret with a striking white coat and captivating red eyes. This playful little guy loves attention and is always up for a game or two. He's an energetic bundle of joy who knows how to charm everyone he meets.
Bart is also a bit of a foodie, never missing a chance to enjoy his favorite treats. After a good meal, you'll find him curling up in his cozy bed for a well-deserved nap. He's litter trained, making him an easy addition to any home.
While staying at the shelter, Bart has shown no signs of biting, making him a gentle and friendly companion. Ferrets, like Bart, are known for their playful nature and curious minds. They can sleep up to 18 hours a day and are known for their love of tunneling and exploring small spaces. With proper care and attention, ferrets can live up to 7-10 years, bringing endless joy to their families.
Bart is ready to find his forever home where he can play, explore, and be loved for the amazing ferret he is!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
