About Buddy
🐾Personality:
Buddy is a sweet, cheeky & sensitive Border Collie who loves a belly scratch.
He has a deep affection to kids. When Buddy first came into care his was timid when meeting new people, since attending board & train he will now even greet some strangers with a pat! With patience & time he will form a strong bond with an adult.
🎓Training:
Buddy already has many skills to be a beautiful family member. He has basic lead manners, is crate trained, will wait for his dinner, settles well on a bed inside the house, is house trained and has comfortably lived with cats and a goat. He is well socialised with other dogs when out & about.
Although Buddy is well-behaved he is still a young Border Collie so he requires mental and physical simulation as well as someone who is dedicated to continue his training. He needs someone with patience to allow him to understand new people & environments.
🏠Perfect Home:
Buddy's perfect home would be one filled with patience, understanding and love. Ideally Buddy's new home will be one where he is the only dog with someone dedicated to help buddy work on his confidence. He may also suit a home with a confident & well trained dog with an owner who can allow Buddy to have regular time apart from them to work on his confidence & independence - this will need to be discussed with our trainer. Above all, Buddy needs a home where he feels included and secure to thrive and share his loyalty and affection.
