About Duke Ellington
Meet Duke Ellington, a shy but incredibly loving dog who’s looking for a special family to help him build his confidence and show him the world. This beautiful boy has a lot of affection to offer, and while he might be a bit reserved at first, he's already showing signs of his burgeoning trust by coming up for cuddles.
Duke gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him an excellent companion if you already have canine family members. His gentle nature and compatibility with other pets make him an easy addition to your household. Duke thrives in an environment where he can feel secure and gradually build his confidence, so a patient and understanding family is exactly what he needs.
Duke will require entropic surgery when he's about five months old, but we’ve got that covered at one of our veterinary partners. Knowing that his future health needs will be met should bring both you and Duke a sense of ease as he transitions into his new home.
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle soul who’s ready to be molded with love and patience, Duke Ellington is your match. By giving Duke a chance, you’re not just adopting a pet; you’re gaining a lifelong friend who will reward your kindness with unwavering loyalty and affection.
Medical notes
Entropian in his left eye which will require surgery to repair and he needs drops put in his eye.
