About Bertie:
Hey there! I’m Bertie, an adorable medium-sized mixed breed pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. My short white coat and sweet, soulful eyes make me irresistible, but it’s my personality that will truly win you over! He loves playing with his toys and the resident dogs and would love a friendly fur sibling to help him continue to learn more doggy manners. If you don’t have a fur sibling then he would need someone who is home most of the time to give him the love, attention and training she needs while he is growing.

Cuddles Galore:
If you’re a fan of snuggles, then I’m your guy! I absolutely adore curling up next to my favorite people and soaking up all the affection. Whether it's a lazy afternoon or a cozy evening, I’m always ready to be your cuddle buddy.

Toilet Trained and Ready to Go:
I’m already toilet trained, which means I’m ready to jump straight into your home and start making memories. No need to worry about those pesky accidents – I’ve got that covered!

Dog-Friendly and Social:
I get along great with other dogs, so if you have furry friends already, I’ll fit right in! I’m always up for playtime and socializing, and I promise to be a good buddy to your current pets.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m searching for a loving family or individual who can provide me with lots of affection, playtime, and of course, more cuddles. In return, I promise to bring endless joy, loyalty, and a wagging tail into your life.

Being a Staffy mix he will need his future family to commit to exercising him as he grows and provide him with the mental stimulation that he will need.

Socialisation and training is a must for him to make sure he becomes a confident, social, happy dog with good manners. With the right training I am sure he will be a wonderful addition to your family!

Bertie’s summary:
• Playful, loving, confident little pup
• Needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside
• Needs someone home majority of the time while a puppy
• Needs to be returned to a DRN approved vet for second vaccination and desexing
• Puppy preschool is always recommended for puppies to help them get ready for basic training and socialisation

Bertie's adoption fee is $700, which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Bertie is in foster care in Awaba Lake Macquarie. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
