About Banjo
Banjo is a handsome black and tan Kelpie x Cattle Dog with a loving and enthusiastic personality.
Banjo loves being around people and seeks out affection. He loves his chew toys and playing with other dogs.
He is very polite at meal times and has quickly learned to sit and wait when instructed. As a dog that loves people and running with his pack, his recall is also developing very quickly.
He is still working on loose leash walking and will continue to need training to help him learn. He makes a great little running buddy for those wanting a sidekick on their runs!
Banjo gets along well with other dogs, he needs close supervision with cats and has not been around livestock or free range chickens. He is crate trained and enjoys his quiet 'snooze' time throughout the day.
Banjo would suit either a family with other dogs or as the only doted upon pup. As an energetic working breed he will need someone who understands his training needs and who is around home most days to give him the mental and physical stimulation that he needs.
Medical notes - Banjo was diagnosed with an ulcer on his left eye. Attempts to treat and save the eye were unsuccessful. To avoid life threatening infection, his eye was surgically removed. He has fully recovered and will now simply enjoy life through one lens.
If you need a handsome and loving boy in your life please drop Banjo a line! He is waiting to hear from you!

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
