Meet Bee! This delightful Staffy mix female is a bundle of love and enthusiasm just waiting to find her new family. Born May 2024, Bee is already vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, and treated for worms, heartworm, and fleas. Currently located in Toowoomba, Bee is eagerly awaiting her chance to bring joy and loyalty to her new home.
Despite her humble beginnings, Bee has shown immense resilience and adaptability. Her days are filled with fun and frolic as she enjoys exploring the yard, napping, and wrestling with her furry foster siblings. Nights are equally serene, with Bee snuggling up comfortably in her crate and sleeping soundly through the night. Remarkably, she’s making great strides in house training, with minimal accidents indoors.
This shy but eager-to-please girl has lived with a toddler and got along fabulously, making her a suitable companion for families with children. Her playful nature comes to the fore with chew toys and squeakers, and she’s steadily mastering basic commands. Bee also loves car rides, where she sits calmly in her spot. With a bit of time and the company of another dog, Bee would even thrive in a home with full-time workers. Bee has even met cats who she was curious but friendly with!
Bee is adventurous and would relish getting out for activities 3-4 times a week. Whether it's running, sniffing, or rolling around, she’s always up for it. As she grows, likely to a medium-large size of around 25kg, she’ll appreciate having a secure yard with a 5ft fence or higher to call her own. While she's made no effort to escape, this precaution will ensure her safety as she matures.
Bee’s also quite flexible–while she loves being inside, she could adjust to sleeping outside if necessary, as long as she has another dog to keep her company. Her smart and trainable nature means that with the right routine and early training, she will grow into a well-mannered and loyal companion.
So why not take the plunge and apply to adopt Bee? There's a reason why you've read this far—Bee could very well be the perfect addition to your family. And if you're not quite sold on her name, don’t worry; most dogs, including Bee, learn new names quickly!
Ready to bring Bee into your home? Apply now and start a wonderful journey with this spirited and loving girl.

Apply here after reading below:- Adoption Application: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/OTCadoptionapp
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox should you want an update on your application.
