Lucky are the souls that meet Alpine!
Alpine is a goofy boy full of love. Extraordinary in looks and personality alike, to know Alpine is to fall in love with him.

Don't let those pensive eyes fool you, Alpine is full of energy and loves to play with both people and other dogs. He could definitely suit a home with a four legged sibling, so long as space permits and personalities match. While Alpine loves to play with his four legged buddies, he can occasionally get a bit overexcited and insistent with his play, so initially some patience and consideration would be necessary with creating a positive bond with his potential sibling. A similarly social and tolerant dog would be a great candidate.

Being a Livestock Guardian Dog, Alpine would thrive best on a rural property, one with plenty of space to explore. He can get quite overwhelmed with passing cars, so a yard that is away from a road is a must. With some desensitisation work he may be able to overcome this fear, but patience and consideration when vehicles are around are important.

Alpine has been a favourite at the Forever Friends Sanctuary, and as such hasn't spent time in a foster home since coming into care. For this reason we are accepting foster enquiries for Alpine over immediate adoptions, just to help ease him into home life.
