Hello 👋🏼 my name is Marigold. I’m 4mnths old and on the hunt for my purfect family đźŹ
As per my foster mum, I’m a dream kitten. A beautiful combination of playful and snoozy, independent and affectionate. I’m happy to play on my own with toys or with my sister, and if you aren’t about I can entertain myself. But when it’s time for a nap, I love to be near people and love pats and giving kisses.
I think my favourite thing at my new home will be getting to sleep in my people’s bed!
My Ideal Home:
An Indoor only is an essential for me.
I have long hair and it’s likely to get longer, so my new family has to commit to getting me used to being brushed and trimming some of my hair to avoid smelly dreadlocks.
I’ll suit most households.
What is Known About My Background:
I was found in an industrial site with my siblings and mum, but we are all so confident and affectionate it’s unlikely to be our origin spot, it’s suspected we were dumped there.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I am good with everyone! Really loud kids startle me a bit, but once their excitement starts to wear off, they aren’t too bad and given more frequent exposure I’ll grow to love them.
It took me a couple of days to warm up to the dog and other cat in my foster home, but we are friends now. So I’ll just need an appropriate introduction!

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
