I am a 16-month-old Border Collie x Golden Retriever looking for a home to call my own. Ideally, I would love to live with a family that needs an extra hand around their property. Just show me what to do and I will do my best! I am told I am a fast learner and therefore it shouldn’t take me too long to learn the ropes. If we don’t need to do any work, then hopefully I’ll have room for playing ball, stretching my legs during a long walk or run. I love being included on all family adventures (including car rides) and of course, I would love another confident and playful dog (or three) to hang out with.
My current carer says I have a beautiful, sweet and affectionate nature. I am intelligent, fast and a little cheeky. I’m already house trained and a high jumper (so no need to lift me into cars or utes) and currently fine tuning my skills at recall. I enjoy my cuddles and those amazing scratches on my chest.
Walking is fun but running is even better! I love meeting and playing with everyone, but with my high energy and so much more to learn I would prefer to have lots of space to roam with like-minded dogs that know what us working breeds are all about. Please research my breed and common quirks so we can work together to live happily ever after!
As much as I enjoy the company of little kiddies, I can become too much for them and I am the one that gets into trouble. Please only teenagers/older kids.
As much as I would like to be, I’m not sure how to be friends with cats. Once they decide to run, I think they are fun to chase!
