About Dougal
Meet Dougal, a charming 15-year-old Silky Terrier with a heart as gentle as his spirit.
Recently, Dougal lost his beloved mum and is now in search of a loving new family to cherish him.
Despite his heart condition, which means he will only have a few months left, Dougal's zest for life remains strong. He adores cozy naps and affectionate cuddles, spending much of his time resting, and he loves the company of gentle souls, especially other senior dogs. Dougal would thrive in a warm, quiet home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
His new family will receive ongoing support for his medication, thanks to the kindness of his former owner’s relatives.

Dougal has a Grade 5 heart murmur and is currently medicated for this condition. Relatives of the late owner have kindly offered to help pay for Dougals ongoing medication and medical costs.
