About Maple
Say hello to Maple!
Maple is a tiny little beagle x cavalier who’s on a mission to steal hearts! She is incredibly friendly to all humans and her doggie friends, she’s smart, loves cuddles and full of funny quirks. She loves to be near her people and bonds with them very strongly.
She is a beautifully clear communicator! She will use her doggie body language to show us humans what she needs, having knowledge in dog behaviour will help you and Maple create a trust like no other. She loves meal time and any treats she can get, but she has impeccable table manners and still waits for her command to eat. Speaking of commands, she’s got plenty! Sit, shake, lie down, roll over, on your bed, inside, wait, stay, here, and many more!
She would be suited to any home! She could go to a home with kids and other dogs. She is a lazy girl at heart and loves nothing more than being snuggled on the couch next to you, but she does have bursts of energy so mental stimulation for Maple is a must.
Maple has trauma to her paws, likely from being over exposed to hard surfaces like concrete and gravel in her past life resulting in cracked and torn paw pads. Her foster carers have worked hard to help get them back to a healthy condition! Continued care would be required, such as using paw balm and avoiding over exposure to hard surfaces.
Want to know more? Enquire! She’s already excited to meet you!
Medical notes
Cracked paws pad, currently being treated with paw palm.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
