Meet Chevy!

Old Man Chevy is looking for a wonderful retirement home, but don't be fooled, there's a lot of energy still left in this senior boy. Like most retirees, Chevy has done his time being in the presence of little children, he would much prefer a home where he can just relax and treat him like the senior king he is.
Chevy adores his humans; he absolutely loves following behind his people while they potter around the home. He has spent some time in foster with one of our dedicated foster carers and they have the following to say about Chevy.

"Chevy is so sweet and loving, he just loves attention and cuddles. Although he is 11 years old, he can still be playful and brings toys to you whenever he wants to play."

He loves fetch and throwing his toys around. Chevy is just the cutest little soul with such a gentle nature. He is one smart cookie too! He can sit, stay and even waits for permission to go in and outside of the house for his bathroom breaks. What he does not enjoy is car rides - Chevy can be a little anxious in vehicles but our team here at The Lost Dogs' Home can give you some tips and tricks for making the journeys as stress-free as possible.

Chevy may like to have another senior, calm companion in the home but like all oldies, they can be set in their ways so a meet and greet before adopting is required to ensure that there will be a harmonious household. Taking on a senior doggo from the Shelter is a big commitment, Chevy has some medical conditions that will need monitoring to ensure he lives a full and happy life. While these conditions are not life threatening, they will require regular visits to the vet so his new owners will need to be mindful of the life-long commitment to maintaining his health when adopting. As an oodle-type dog Chevy will need regular grooming to ensure he stays looking just as handsome as he does now!
