Hello everyone, Alaska here. I am here with my foster mum as she is helping me with my story, which is extraordinary to say the least.
When homeless animals come into rescue , it means so many things. A safe place to stay, a chance at a new life, and no more worrying about the clock ticking for when time “ is up” . For me it definitely meant that I got a safe place to stay, but nobody knew what was to lay ahead for me.
When I arrived at my foster home I was very pregnant. I am only a tiny little Miss and my belly was rounded like a barrel. When my first baby came into the world I did all the right things and quickly got the baby all cleaned up. I knew how to do this birthing thing as I had had litters before. My foster mum was with me making sure I was ok . Then though with the next baby , and the next three after that I stopped birthing my babies properly and my foster mum had to step in (or step up as she says) . We won’t go into details but it added a million wrinkles to my foster mum and I have heard her say she never EVER wants to do anything like that again. After all that drama I
went on to be a fantastic Mum and I took the best care of my babies.
Fast forward to when I was able to be desexed and that thing happened again, where I was causing wrinkles to faces, but this time it was the vet’s face. While I was getting desexed the vet found a hard lump in my belly. Upon X-ray the vet found a fully formed kitten that I had not been able to give birth to when I was delivering my other babies. 😭 This type of thing is very rare, and the vets were amazed at how well I had coped. It explained so much about why I had so much trouble birthing my other babies.
Everyone says how brave I am to endure that kind of pain and still be the most perfect loving Mum and so affectionate to my humans. Extraordinary is a word I hear a lot.
Now this is where the chance of a new life begins with this story.
We know I am the bravest little lady you are ever likely to meet but what else am I ? I live in multi pet household with both cats and dogs. I think I can get a bit overwhelmed with multiple cats so I might want to be your only princess.
I have this cutest way about how I stand up on my hind legs and put my front paws on you and snuggle into your neck. Always in your presence purring away, I love to have a chat and my voice is just the sweetest little sound. Oh and did you see I love teddy bears, well I that’s just a snippet of the love I could give to you.
Want to make me a part of your family? Better be quick. Extraordinary doesn’t come along every day.
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS ❤

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
