This lovely sweet natured boy is a 16 month old bundle of adolescent poodle fun and bounce. Full of the poodle joy of life he loves people, and other well socialised dogs who play in the manner poodles enjoy

He listens to commands, and has some basic manners, but will benefit from further training until he matures. He learns easily with consistent handling, but standard poodles usually enjoy adolescence until 3 - 3 1/2 yrs of age.

This boy does have an 'off switch' and loves a cuddle and quiet night after a busy day - he will require daily socialisation, as well as moderate exercise

Xander can be enthusiastic meeting people and somewhat jumpy - for this reason he is best with children over 8.

He doesn't pay much attention to the house cat, but prey drive sometimes comes with maturity and we don't know his family history.

Loves balls, and playing with toys, people, and other dogs.

As a standard poodle he will require professional grooming 6 weekly, with a full brush and comb out daily. He does have a good poodle coat and would easy to maintain in a fluffy style for an owner prepared to do the daily brushing and combing to prevent coat matting.
