About Fred π
Looking for a distinguished gentleman? Look no further than Fred!
He's the full package cat:
𧑠Handsome
𧑠Calm and sleepy
𧑠Certified cuddlebug
𧑠Orange
He can be a little shy and skittish at first (what proper gentleman isn't...) especially around loud sounds, but give him a little bit of time and love and you'll find that he's the sweetest, cuddliest little guy with a big, rumbly purr! He absolutely loves a chin scratch and a warm spot to nap in.
Very sociable and would need to go to a forever home with another cat. Because he's a little more on the shy side, he would do best in a home with no young children or dogs.
He is desexed, fully vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.

Medical notes
Fred has had little flareups of FHV in the first few weeks he came to us, which is super common as present in shelter cats. He would get a bit of eye irritation and slightly sneezy but it didn't seem to bother him too much.
He was given a round of antibiotics and eye drops and then recovered pretty quickly after that. He is not currently presenting any symptoms.
Just to note, FHV shouldn't cause any issues but he may get flareups now and then when stressed although this should be greatly reduced if he is kept up to date with vaccinations.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
