About Shaggy
ADOPTION GUIDELINES
INDOOR/OUTDOOR - RECOMMENDED TO ATTEND TRAINING CLASSES - CHILDREN 10+ - POTENTIAL SECOND DOG - NOT SUITABLE FOR APARTMENTS
Shaggy loves loves loves people and thinks he is a lap dog! He is most content when he is surrounded by people lavishing attention on him. Shaggy gets on well with other dogs and has been fostered with older energetic working dogs.
He is food motivated so will respond well to training with treats, but also lavish pats and praise work well with him to. Shaggy walks well on a lead but will benefit from further loose lead training. He has been having daily walks of 30-40min and loves nothing better than a dip in the nearest puddle, or a zoomie through the long grass. Shaggy travels well and has had some crate training in the car. He has some basic housetraining that will need to be reinforced, he will have an accident if his person misses the cues. Shaggy can be bumbling and clumsy but it makes him all the more endearing. If you want undying devotion then Shaggy could be for you.
The adoption fee for Shaggy is $550.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
