About Oreo
Meet Oreo, a gorgeous black Domestic Long Hair (DLH) cat with a heart full of love and a personality that's impossible to resist. With her silky, luxurious fur and bright, soulful eyes, Oreo is the perfect combination of beauty and sweetness.
She has a deep love for human companionship and shows her affection by gently rubbing up against you, always eager to be close and to share her warmth. Oreo's loving nature extends to other cats as well; she absolutely adores their company and is quick to form strong bonds with them. If you already have a feline friend at home, Oreo will be the perfect companion, bringing harmony and happiness to your household.
Oreo's super sweet, down-to-earth demeanor makes her a joy to be around, and she thrives in an environment where she can be surrounded by love and kindness.
She's the type of cat who will happily curl up next to you for a cuddle or follow you around the house, content just to be near you.
Oreo would also be wonderful in a home with children who can come in and meet her, as she's patient and gentle, making her an ideal family pet.
If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and sweet-natured cat to add to your family, Oreo is ready to fill your home with love and companionship.
To book a meet and greet with Oreo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
