About Cookie
Ever wondered what it would be like to have the best dog on the street? Stop looking. MEET COOKIE! Not only is she super bright, but her personality is just as gorgeous as her looks. This show stopper with a love heart shaped face is looking for her happily ever after.
This intelligent girl knows her sit, drop, and shake, walks on a loose lead, and waits patiently for her dinner! Cookie is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. She's a food motivated girl who’s eager to learn.
Cookie is confident in new situations but will require a patient human to continue to teach and guide her. She’s a quick learner who loves her training sessions. Cookie loves pack walks with her foster siblings and is always excited for a car trip; she’s the perfect passenger.
Cookie has developed great manners when meeting new fur friends and humans in care, but she will need continued support with this. Cookie is enthusiastic about joining in on play, especially if it is fetch, but she also has a fantastic off-switch and loves to chill with her human or fur friends.
Cookie is looking for an experienced home that will continue her training to keep her brain busy and body active and continue to teach her rules and boundaries. Cookie has shown no interest in larger animals such as cattle and horses. Cookie would make a fabulous addition to a household with another active fur buddy to compete for the Wrestlemania championship, play tug with, and do hot laps around the yard.
Cookie is located in QLD.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
