Cuddly old boy!
- Hi, I'm Leo! A super cuddly, deeply affectionate but shy 14-year-old boy, with a fluffy coat you will adore.
- My previous human lost our home and very reluctantly had to give me up. Lucky for me SAFE Busselton took me in and I've been in foster care with a lovely lady and her 18-year-old male cat.
- My perfect role in life is to be a companion cat in my own home, with a bed or a lap that is mine alone.
- I am litter trained, love my food and eat both raw and canned wet foods as well as kibbles. I will definitely come and inform you, in a quiet voice, when I am hungry.
- If you are at work all day, I am fine home alone because I sleep a lot.
- I could tolerate another pet, as long as I get to be in charge of my owner's bed! I have lived with other cats and dogs, but young children may be too noisy for me.
- I prefer a fairly quiet home, and noises can send me back into my cubbyhole under the bed.
- I would love a home with access to an enclosed catio so I can safely enjoy being outdoors.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
