About Kady
Are you in search of a delightful little companion to join your family?
Well, look no further because we have the perfect little girl for you!
Allow us to introduce you to Kadyshan, affectionately known as Kady.
Kady is an adorable little lady Husky cross with a gentle and loving nature and a super silky thick wavy black velvet coat.
She absolutely adores being around people and other dogs.
Kady had is desexed has 2 sets of vaccinations is microchipped had had Heart worm prevention and is fully wormed.
One of her favorite activities is playing in the water—she loves splashing around, chomping at the water, and doing what we like to call “water zoomies.” Kady is also a big fan of food and works hard to earn her rewards.
When it comes to interaction with humans, Kady is a sweetheart. She loves the people she knows and will greet you with the wiggliest, waggliest welcome. While she may be a bit cautious of new people entering the home, outside she transforms into a social butterfly. We’ve been diligently working to expose her to a variety of people, including kids, tradespeople, cyclists, and even trains in her outside world, and she is showing great confidence. Like all puppies, she will need continued exposure to the outside world to grow into a well-rounded dog. Kady would be best suited to an active family, if with children they will need to be dog-savvy, gentle, and understand the boundaries that dogs need.
In terms of obedience and training, Kady is making excellent progress. She is hand-fed all her meals as part of her daily training routine. She is learning commands such as come, sit, drop, and mat. Kady is incredibly enthusiastic about learning and is doing well with her recall outside the home.
Kady has also developed strong animal social skills. She has been exposed to many dogs and currently lives with three others. She is confident around them and is learning her place in the pack. Kady is also learning to play and socialize well with other dogs.
Regarding independence, Kady spends time outside while her carer works. She hangs out with the other dogs and rarely barks, seeming quite content. Of course, there will always be an adjustment period when settling into a new environment, which may make her a little unsettled at first as with most pups
Kady is fed high-quality puppy food, and we suggest she remain on this diet until she is 12-14 months old.
She has a medium-length, wavy, silky black coat that is easy to care for but will have some shedding. Kady loves being brushed and doesn’t mind a bath, making her a water baby.
At night,
Kady sleeps in her crate and sometimes does her little husky chitter-chatter when going to bed, but she settles down and sleeps through the night without any issues.
She also enjoys car travel and loves her trips to the park. Although she tries to jump into the car, her little legs don’t quite get her there yet.
Kady is mentally stimulated each day through her daily obedience training and enjoys a daily walk with her pals. She walks well on a lead for a small pup.
Inside the home, Kady is polite and is learning to spend short periods on her mat. She is not mouthy or nippy and very rarely jumps, as she has learned that she gets attention when she sits.
She is doing well with her toilet training if taken out regularly, although she may have the occasional accident and will need continued training.
Being a pup, Kady is a little opportunistic with chewing things, with her favorite being toilet rolls and cardboard. Other than that, she doesn’t get into too much mischief but is not left inside unsupervised.
The ideal home for Kady would be with an active family who will include her in their daily home life. She would thrive in a calm home that will continue her socialization in the big wide world. A family committed to obedience training to develop a well-behaved pup would be perfect. Kady would also do well in a home with another calm male dog, not too old, as older dogs often don’t appreciate the exuberance of puppies. A home near water would be ideal for this water-loving pup. Please note that no small yard or apartment living will be considered for this breed.
