About Pork Chop
Hey there, I'm Pork Chop, a 12-year-old Kelpie with plenty of pep left in my step! Don't let my age fool you-I'm still as playful as ever and love hanging out with other dogs.
I might not be up for super long walks anymore (a guy's gotta take it easy sometimes), but I still love exploring and getting out to see the world.
One of my favorite things is lounging on the couch, keeping an eye on the family while they enjoy their tea.
I'm a well-mannered, seasoned gentleman who's learned the ropes over the years, so you can count on me to be a steady companion.
I would be happy to live with kids, especially those who understand that us older dogs deserve a bit of extra care. I'd love to meet them first to make sure we're a good fit. Senior dogs like me have a lot of love to give, and I promise I'll make the best pet you could ask for. Looking forward to finding a family to share my golden years with!
Woof and wags,
Pork Chop

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
