Introducing the sweetest girl you'll ever meet: Kandy!

This lovely lady has found herself at our shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. Unfortunately, her previous owners moved away and weren't able to take Kandy with them, but she is patiently waiting for her new forever family with us.

Kandy is a little bit stressed out at the shelter and will need a family that will help her settle into her new home so she can relax and have her goofy personality really shine! Kandy needs to go to an adults-only home with a secure backyard for her to run around in!

Kandy might be interested in having another doggie friend, but would need to meet them first before going home together! A well-matched pup for Kandy would be a gentle and confident dog, that can help her adjust to her new life and learn how to be the best pup she can be!

Kandy struggles with her impulse control (that means one jumpy girl!) and would LOVE it if her new family could help her with some positive reinforcement, force-free, training (that means LOTS of treats for this sweet lady)! Kandy is also a little bit uncomfortable being handled by new people, so she would love a patient family that can give her some space when she needs it.
