About Winifred (Winnie)
Miss Winifred could possibly be the sweetest girl that ever lived. Winnie is very shy and timid upon first meeting but once she is comfortable she is an energetic, sweet and smoochy character.
Winnie loves big dogs and is hoping to have a big brother or sister to show her the ropes. She loves to copy her foster brother and sister and they have helped her come out of her shell and learn how to do cool things like use a dog door and wee on the grass.
Winnie LOVES food but will wait to eat if you ask her to. Using food for training and enrichment is a MUST!!
Winnie is crate trained and sleeps through the night which is a shock for those who have puppy experience!! She generally goes to bed around 8pm and is ready for the day around 7ish.
Winnie has been introduced to cats, she is very curious and loves to follow them around for a minute or two but would settle in fine if there are cats in her forever home.
Winnie also loves small kids, she'd make a great family dog.
It would be best if Winnie's new owner is home more often than not as she does miss her human when they leave the house.
If you have space in your heart for a gal who loves cuddles, loves to play and learn, LOVES other big doggos, then Winifred is the dog for you! She is a truly special girl looking for a very special home. If that sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Winifred has a white coat so is prone to skin cancer. She must have sunscreen on when in the sun to protect her.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
