About Horace & Blackie
Horace & Blackie are a beautiful pair and are each other's best friends. They are past their kitten craziness and just want a home where they can relax and become a part of a real family.
These two lived long on the streets as strays. Somehow, as they battled for survival out on the mean, north suburban streets, this unusual pair found each other and formed a loyal friendship. This bond is for life, and we honour it.
Side by side they fought, through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, until finally, injured and starving, they knew they’d run out of choices. They allowed themselves to be trapped by a human and came into foster care. This decision saved their lives.
Once safe and rested, it turned out Horace is a sweet, playful boy who’s just too happy to settle down and hang around with a loving human, who’ll care for him, and his sleek princess. He is friendly, loves company, and enjoys pats on the head and back scratches.
Princess Blackie, so named because she’s jet black, and posh, lets Horace do all the talking. Shy and elusive, she’ll benefit from a patient human who will win her over, so she can relax the way she already does with Horace - prancing and leaping like a kitten.
This pair is perfectly suited to an older household where they can enjoy a quieter life with lots of love and patience. They would like to be the only two pets in the house, with no other cats or dogs. These two just want comfort and love. Will they find it with you?

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home. If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to
