About Dim Sim
Meet Dim Sim, a delightful 9-year-and-10-month-old feline who is on the lookout for her forever home. With her irresistibly cute looks and a personality that shines, Dim Sim is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the independent nature of a cat yet loves a good cuddle.
Dim Sim adores being around people, and you'll often find her snuggled up close, enjoying the warmth and affection. However, she's also quite independent, making her an ideal match for a working household. She's content to spend her days lounging in a cozy spot, waiting for you to return home, or sharing her space with another kitty who respects her need for quiet time.
Whether she's basking in the sunshine in a safe outdoor area or lounging indoors, Dim Sim will thrive in a home that offers her the perfect balance of affection and independence. While she gets along well with other cats, she would be happiest as either the only feline in the household or paired with a laid-back cat who gives her the space she needs.
Dim Sim would do well in a home with older children who understand and respect her boundaries. She's looking for a family that will give her the time she needs to settle in and feel at home. If you're looking for a sweet, independent, and loving companion, Dim Sim is the perfect cat for you.
To book a meet and greet with Dim Sim please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
