About Sadie
Meet Sadie, a delightful two-and-a-half-year-old female Cocker Spaniel who is simply brimming with love to share. This gorgeous girl has a heart full of affection and a personality that warms up once she feels secure with her new family. You'll quickly fall in love with Sadie's endearing nature as she becomes more at ease in her new surroundings.
Sadie enjoys her daily walks and trots along nicely on a lead, even though she may sometimes need a gentle nudge when exploring new environments. Her calm demeanor around other relaxed dogs makes her an excellent companion in a home with a friendly and laid-back dog friend. If you have a cat, no worries—Sadie has shown that she can be great around her feline counterparts too.
Initially, Sadie might come off as a bit anxious, but her beautiful, trusting eyes will soon light up with confidence as she gets acquainted with her new family. She absolutely adores people and will readily offer snuggles and loving attention once she feels secure. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping Sadie truly blossom.
While she is usually calm and gentle, Sadie does become defensive if she feels threatened by other dogs, especially if they bark at her. However, in a nurturing and understanding environment, her confidence and sense of security will grow, mitigating such triggers over time.
Sadie's ideal home would include a calm canine companion and a family willing to give her the love and affirmation she craves. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and sensitive addition to your family, Sadie might be the perfect fit. Let this beautiful Cocker Spaniel walk into your life and fill it with her gentle charm and endless love.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
